Having owned a few Adirondack chairs, rot always sets in on the legs and rain does a number on the paint. I decided to create a low maintenance, hassle-free chair out of stainless steel and red cedar. Stainless won’t rust and cedar is incredibly rot resistant. The function of the piece was the driving force and the resulting form came out even better than expected.
